By accessing this website, creating an account, or submitting your email address, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone who interacts with Necrotic Studios through this site.

Necrotic Studios operates this website to share development progress on Dread Realms, allow interested players to join a wishlist, and provide a community presence for the game ahead of release.

Dread Realms is currently in active development. Features, content, design, and availability are subject to change at any time. Nothing on this site constitutes a binding commitment about the game's final state, release date, or specific feature set.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time, with or without notice.

To create an account you must provide an accurate email address and a username that does not impersonate another person or entity. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must keep your password secure and not share your account credentials. Notify us immediately at contact@necroticstudios.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in harassment or abuse, or otherwise act in a manner detrimental to the community or studio.

Accounts are assigned one of the following roles, each with different levels of access to site features:

• Hunter (Player) — standard registered account with access to profile and community features
• Moderator — elevated access to community management tools, assigned at the studio's discretion
• Studio — internal team access to development and content management tools
• Administrator — full site access, reserved for Necrotic Studios

Role assignments are made at the sole discretion of Necrotic Studios and may be revoked at any time. Elevated roles carry additional responsibility to uphold community standards.

You agree not to use this site to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or the studio
• Post or transmit spam, malware, or malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems
• Impersonate Necrotic Studios, its staff, or other users
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the site without permission
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes the intellectual property rights of any party

By submitting your email to the wishlist, you consent to receive development updates, announcements, and alpha access notifications from Necrotic Studios related to Dread Realms.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email we send. Unsubscribing removes you from marketing communications but does not delete your account if you have one.

We will not use your email for purposes unrelated to Dread Realms or future Necrotic Studios projects, and we will never sell your email address.

All content on this site — including but not limited to the Dread Realms name, logo, artwork, lore, written content, and code — is the intellectual property of Necrotic Studios and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission. Fan art and non-commercial community content is generally welcomed — if in doubt, ask.

If you submit content to the site (such as a profile picture or community post), you grant Necrotic Studios a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the site. You retain ownership of your content.

Alpha and playtest access is granted at Necrotic Studios' sole discretion. Access may be revoked at any time.

Participants in any alpha or playtest may be subject to a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Any NDA terms take precedence over these general Terms of Service where they conflict.

Alpha builds are pre-release software provided "as is". They will contain bugs, incomplete features, and may not be representative of the final product.

This site and all content on it is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Necrotic Studios makes no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any content on this site.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Necrotic Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or your account.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the site will not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. As this site is currently free to use, this limit is zero.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the site will be resolved in the courts of the United States. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

We may update these terms as the site and game develop. We will notify registered users of material changes via the devlog or email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
